Facilitation
Dally Environmental provides technical, process and organizational facilitation for a wide range of organizations. Our clients ask us to help groups find common ground and reach agreement on complex, and often contentious, natural resource policy issues. We work with community and technical advisory committees, regional planning teams, technical teams, boards of directors, policy development teams, natural resource managers, and more.
Key to success in these efforts is the ability to clearly define expected outcomes, and to carefully research and design the effort prior to engaging stakeholders. We listen, guide conversation, ensure that all voices are heard, and clearly summarize agreements and next steps to ensure all participants are on board. We are trained facilitators who are able to maintain neutrality while helping diverse stakeholders achieve expected outcomes. We’ve also conducted facilitation trainings for natural resource managers targeted at resource management.
Environmental Consulting
Much of our work involves translating environmental science and engineering into language that policy makers and the public can understand. As scientists and engineers we are able to research and summarize technical content that serves as background material for policy and technical groups. We provide expertise in natural resource planning and policy development, environmental engineering, watershed science, hydrology, and water systems planning. These technical skill sets are often used in tandem with design and preparation for multi-stakeholder collaborative processes.
Strategic Planning
We help our clients manage projects and design planning processes that optimize the ability of diverse stakeholders to collaborate. Our collaborative process management services include workshops that engage technical experts and stakeholders in a way they can agree to priority actions to reduce toxics contamination of our waterways, share water resources, recover species at risk, address growth and urban sprawl, and protect watersheds. Dally Environmental offers strategic consulting services across a range of environmental practice areas. We strategize with public, private, tribal and non-profit organizations to guide planning processes that result in successful implementation of natural resource solutions.
